In Case of Accident

  1. Stop your vehicle immediately and call 911 for police assistance.
  2. Take pictures of all vehicles involved in the accident as well as pictures showing the vehicle placement on the roadway.
  3. Obtain the names, addresses and phone numbers of any witnesses.
  4. Obtain the at fault driver‘s name, address and insurance information. If possible, take a picture of their driver’s license and vehicle license plate.
  5. Notify your insurance company even if the claim appears small and there are no initial apparent injuries.
  6. Do not provide a statement to the at fault party‘s insurance company.
  7. Never accept a check for the repair of your car or agree to meet with an insurance representative to discuss settling your claim until you’ve spoken to an attorney.
